Mark has a background in psychotherapy and traditional and contemporary forms of psychological and spiritual development. He has been presenting programs on Jungian psychology since 1988 and the Enneagram of Personality from 1989.

Mark has organised three Enneagram conferences and two Jungian psychology conferences and has also presented at a number of other conferences, including several Jungian psychology conferences in the United States and the 2000 International Enneagram Association (IEA) conference in San Francisco.
